Health Care

Today at work a worker injured his back on the job. It was my job to take the worker to the care center and wait while he was checked out. Because he was hurt at work he was able to use the companies insurance policy. This is a good thing because it hold corporations responsible for safety and keeping the employee's health in the front of their mind. It is important as technology advances that all of us as individuals and companies keep our health and our employees health in mind.

Unfortunately there is a number of people in the U.S. that can not afford or do not have health care. There must be a way to help these people out, but a universal health care system is not the answer that I find appealing.

Universal health care is not working in other countries as well as the media portrays it. Universal health care will only provide sub par care and decrease service in the industry. Individuals who would have once sought jobs in the medical field will turn to industries that are not as tightly controlled.

The key to fixing health care in the United States is to return to personal responsibility and have people keep themselves accountable for their health. If the government continues to gain more power in your daily life than you continue to give up your freedom. Learn to live a healthy lifestyle and take care of yourself. The American Health system can not be fixed until Americans keep themselves healthy.
