Polution

On the way into work today I was listening to NPR like I do every morning and they were discussing legislation for polution credits. Basically there would be an amount of polution that would be allowed each year and this would be distributed to each company in some fashion. Those who did not use all there credits could sell there extra to companies who wanted to polute more. The issue is should the government charge companies for these credits (worth an estimated 400billion dollars) or give them away.

The main problem is that this will hurt the lower and middle class because it will raise the cost of energy and other products. This would also increase corporate pockets and hurt consumers. One of the proposed solutions to this would be tax credits to the lower/middle class to help combat these rising cost.

To me that sounds a lot like communism. A lot like another government agency that will be limiting capitalism and negatively impacting our economy. This is not an acceptable solution to our current global warming perception. The solution is a system in which corporations are held accountable to reducing polution and waste. An increase in consumer knowledge and increase personal accountability.

Gun Control

I believe in the Right to Bear Arms. I also belive that you can lose that right if you commit a violent or outrageous crime. It is important that the Government helps protect its citizen, but it is more important that citizens can protect themselves.

This follows my main theme that people need to be responsible for their actions and be able to be responsible for those actions. If the USA is going to continue being a free country then this vital right that our Founding Fathers put as our 2nd ammendment must remain intact.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I went home and visited my Family and some of my best friends. This time of year it is always great to look back and reflect on our lives and enjoy what we have worked so hard for all year.

I am looking foward to working hard for you in White House.

Immigration

This election year is big in the immigration debate. I hope that the effects of any legislation pass is fully comprehended by those in power.

Fact: Illegal Immigrants work in the U.S.

The solutions offered have not been cost effective or good for the American life.

Building a "Wall" is not cost effective and will only hinder illegals from coming over.

Kicking out all the illegal immigrants will hurt the economy, drive up housing prices and the price of fruits and vegetables.

Giving assylum to those already over here sends an improper message that you can break our laws and get away with it.

Another option is to fine employeers, which would likely lead to higher price goods, reduced inventories and loss of jobs for Americans.

Loss of immigrant workers would also drive many companies overseas where then can get labor to compete with price points that China and India can provide.

The American people need a solution they can stand behind but one has not been offered. Are we prepared to face the difficulties and rising prices that a labor shortage will bring?

Taxes

Raise your hand if you do not like taxes and think the tax code is way to long. That is what I thought. There must be a way to fix the current system and there all. The one problem with our current situation is that a significant part of your tax dollars go to paying interest on our debts. If we continue to get in debt at our current rate we will put a huge burden on our children.

The first thing we must do is lower spending and pay down the national debt. The second step is to make the tax code simple and fair. This can be done through a number of avenues and as we continue to move towards the 2032 elections I assure you that my plan to reduce and simplify taxes will be revealed at the appropriate time.

I would like to thank all my current supporters. While no official 2032 polls have come out I can assure you that I am the current front runner. Please start recruiting your friends, because if we start now American can have one of the people in the White House and not a life long politician that has lost touch with their constituents.

If each person can bring 1 person to this campaign each week between now and 2032 we can have the nessessary votes to carry the country.
