I believe in the Right to Bear Arms. I also belive that you can lose that right if you commit a violent or outrageous crime. It is important that the Government helps protect its citizen, but it is more important that citizens can protect themselves.
This follows my main theme that people need to be responsible for their actions and be able to be responsible for those actions. If the USA is going to continue being a free country then this vital right that our Founding Fathers put as our 2nd ammendment must remain intact.

Immigration
This election year is big in the immigration debate. I hope that the effects of any legislation pass is fully comprehended by those in power.
Fact: Illegal Immigrants work in the U.S.
The solutions offered have not been cost effective or good for the American life.
Building a "Wall" is not cost effective and will only hinder illegals from coming over.
Kicking out all the illegal immigrants will hurt the economy, drive up housing prices and the price of fruits and vegetables.
Giving assylum to those already over here sends an improper message that you can break our laws and get away with it.
Another option is to fine employeers, which would likely lead to higher price goods, reduced inventories and loss of jobs for Americans.
Loss of immigrant workers would also drive many companies overseas where then can get labor to compete with price points that China and India can provide.
The American people need a solution they can stand behind but one has not been offered. Are we prepared to face the difficulties and rising prices that a labor shortage will bring?

Taxes
Raise your hand if you do not like taxes and think the tax code is way to long. That is what I thought. There must be a way to fix the current system and there all. The one problem with our current situation is that a significant part of your tax dollars go to paying interest on our debts. If we continue to get in debt at our current rate we will put a huge burden on our children.
The first thing we must do is lower spending and pay down the national debt. The second step is to make the tax code simple and fair. This can be done through a number of avenues and as we continue to move towards the 2032 elections I assure you that my plan to reduce and simplify taxes will be revealed at the appropriate time.
I would like to thank all my current supporters. While no official 2032 polls have come out I can assure you that I am the current front runner. Please start recruiting your friends, because if we start now American can have one of the people in the White House and not a life long politician that has lost touch with their constituents.
If each person can bring 1 person to this campaign each week between now and 2032 we can have the nessessary votes to carry the country.

Health Care
Today at work a worker injured his back on the job. It was my job to take the worker to the care center and wait while he was checked out. Because he was hurt at work he was able to use the companies insurance policy. This is a good thing because it hold corporations responsible for safety and keeping the employee's health in the front of their mind. It is important as technology advances that all of us as individuals and companies keep our health and our employees health in mind.
Unfortunately there is a number of people in the U.S. that can not afford or do not have health care. There must be a way to help these people out, but a universal health care system is not the answer that I find appealing.
Universal health care is not working in other countries as well as the media portrays it. Universal health care will only provide sub par care and decrease service in the industry. Individuals who would have once sought jobs in the medical field will turn to industries that are not as tightly controlled.
The key to fixing health care in the United States is to return to personal responsibility and have people keep themselves accountable for their health. If the government continues to gain more power in your daily life than you continue to give up your freedom. Learn to live a healthy lifestyle and take care of yourself. The American Health system can not be fixed until Americans keep themselves healthy.

It is time to unite
While the 2008 Presidential Campaign is now in full tilt with the Democratic and Republican candidates getting ready for the primaries which are slated to start in a couple of months. Unless of course the States continue to move their primaries up. If things continue to go forward we will hear that Florida moved their votes up to September and no one will have gotten to vote!
I am officially announcing my Candidacy for the 2032 Presidential Race. I am currently running as an independent, but will update you with any changes. I am a registered republican but have my own opinion on a wide range of issue from the environment to the economy that I will be sharing with you during the next 24 years.
I have started campaigning now due to the huge cost that it will undoubtedly cost to run a campaign in 24 years. As a person of the people, and not a corrupt bureaucrat from Washington D.C. that has lost touch with the American People I do not have the pockets of corporations to help with funding. Please spread the news to your friends and families.
Please check back weekly for updates on the campaign and my latest thoughts on what is important to you and the United State in which we all love!
